VISION SYSTEMS PRESENTS ITS LATEST ELECTRONICALLY DIMMABLE WINDOWS’ INNOVATIONS AND VIP IFEC SYSTEM

Vision Systems pursues its innovative strategy and exhibits its new solutions: a touchless-controlled Electronically Dimmable Window and a dimmable sun visor. The company will also present the latest version of its wireless IFE system on PEDs dedicated to business jets.
Nuance Touchless is the world’s first dimmable aircraft window controlled without any contact between the finger and the window. On the multizone solution featured at NBAA, the visitors can set strips from the clear to the dark position, one after the other and from the top down like a Venetian blind, just by approaching their hand near the window and moving it upward or downward, and sideward to set the desired level of opacity. The aim is to give the possibility to the passenger who is seated in the aisle to control the window from their seat without disturbing the passenger at the window seat.
Opti-Visor is also one of Vision Systems' new solutions. The version which will be exhibited at the show is a dimmable sun visor for the cockpit featuring 3 buttons directly on the polycarbonate: +, - and Auto, meaning that the pilot can choose either to have an automated management (with an integrated light sensor) or can control the tint directly by simply pushing the + or - buttons. Opti-Visor operates without any wiring thanks to an integrated battery that is rechargeable. Furthermore, it is easily removable. Another version has been developed, a self-powered dimmable sun visor, which includes transparent photovoltaic cells integrated into the glazing.
