Minalogic Business Meetings, an international business convention unlike any other in the region, brought in more than 250 participants. The 2018 edition was held on June 5 at the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes regional government center in Lyon.

The 2018 edition of Minalogic Business Meetings kept its promises with very high satisfaction rates for the pre-scheduled meetings, targeted introductions, and quality and efficiency of the meetings. This all-business event met attendees’ expectations, with most planning to come back next year.

  • 81.5% of attendees were satisfied with the quality of the event
  • 81.3% were satisfied with the quality of the leads generated
  • 70% stated that they would like to attend again next year

The event also included seven speakers, giving innovative SMEs (Gravotech, Microlight 3D, Probayes, Tihive, Witekio), a large corporation (Hardis), and a bank (HSBC) an opportunity to present their activities in the field of advanced manufacturing.

Several attendees (Hurence and two of our sponsors, CIC and Leyton) took advantage of a special elevator pitch area to present their businesses, know-how, and services.

On the eve of the event, Minalogic organized an innovation tour focusing on digital technology for smart cities. Participants (representatives of corporations, partners, and sponsors) toured EDF’s Smart Electric Lyon Showroom, the INSA-Inria CITIlab, SPL Lyon Confluence, and Navya Group. They also got ride the Navly, Navya’s autonomous vehicle.

Juliette Jarry, the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region’s Vice President for Digital Affairs, also attended the tour, giving her a chance to learn about the technologies developed by Minalogic’s partners and, more broadly, the potential offered by the region’s digital ecosystem. The participants were enthusiastic about the tour, which took place in a relaxed atmosphere that provided many opportunities for SMEs to chat with representatives of corporations, partners, and sponsors, laying the foundations for future relationships and setting the tone for the next day’s Minalogic Business Meetings.
