Context: Laclarée is a startup developing adaptive eyeglasses to retrieve automatic focusing for people aged 45+. The Laclarée eyeglasses aim at the millions of presbyopes who today experience difficulties with current corrective solutions. The Laclarée adaptive technology offers a disruptive ergonomics where the glasses automatically adjust to the wearer need, while being totally inconspicuous. Laclarée achieved a functional wearable prototype which was validated with a first wearing trial and now tackles the miniaturization of its electro-fluidic technology. Laclarée will deliver its high-end eyeglasses to optical retailers.
Laclarée started in 2016; its technical team now counts 5 people and will grow in the coming years. In 2019, Laclarée raised its first round of financing with renowned French and German seed funds (Kreaxi and High-Tech Gründerfonds).
Type of contract: permanent position, attached to the Technical Direction.

Mission: Laclarée opens a senior position for an experienced electronic engineer. He/She will have to develop and improve prototypes on all key parameters, HW, SW, User experience. He/She will have to elaborate the electronic architecture of the product and participate to set the roadmap. He/She will drive product integration, industrialization and he/she will find and manage strategic partners for Laclarée’s market introduction.

Prerequisite: He/She comes from electrical engineering and has a solid experience > 10y in industry. He/She has worked in the development, optimization, and integration of wearable products, IOT, medical devices. He/She is able to drive a set of strategic partners.
