Descriptif du poste
iNGage is seeking a highly skilled Inertial Sensor Product Development Engineer. In this role, you will be responsible for the entire product development and optimization of high-performance inertial MEMS sensors (gyros, IMUs) … You will collaborate with crossfunctional teams to bring innovative MEMS sensors to mass production.
Responsibilities
- Lead products developments, from R&D to production, using stage-gate methods,
- Work with engineering teams and marketing to ensure product development aligns with market needs, timelines, budgets and target product costs,
- Lead product specifications and FMEAs, and drive test and Design Verification Plans to comply with various environments / industry standards (AEC-Q100, MIL-STD…),
- Define sensor packaging in interaction with suppliers and assembly partner,
- Organize and prepare the design reviews and documentation,
- Collaborate with MEMS & ASIC designers and test team to optimize products,
- Support reliability testing, failure analysis, and root cause investigations,
- Create product documentation, incl. specifications, datasheets, app notes,
- Communicate results, lead technical presentations, and support customers.
Key skills
- Experience with product development phases and agile development processes,
- Knowledge of inertial sensor design, characterization, testing, and calibration,
- Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and external partners.
Profile
- MSc or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Instrumentation,
- Minimum 7 years experience in sensors development,
- Experience in automotive or aerospace desired,
- Fluent in English and French. Italian is a plus.
