Eenuee and Duqueine Group: a key regional partnership for electric aviation

Saint-Etienne-based startup eenuee announces a strategic partnership with Duqueine Group, a leading player in composite materials, to accelerate the development of its 100% electric regional aircraft. First flight scheduled for 2029.

Low-carbon air mobility to link régions

Faced with the climate emergency and the budget constraints associated with traditional infrastructures, local authorities need light, clean, accessible mobility solutions that don't require major public investment.

eenuee's regional electric aircraft meets these challenges:

  • Without the need to build major new infrastructure,
  • With unrivalled energy efficiency,
  • By opening up new regions.

Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes, a mountainous region where opening up is a key issue, is an ideal illustration of the need for this aerial revolution.

A structural innovation: the carrier fuselage

"The heart of our innovation is the carrier fuselage: an architecture that is more demanding to design than the classic tubular fuselage, but much more efficient. Having validated its aerodynamic qualities, our challenge now is to design it in detail with a view to certification", explains Benjamin Persiani, CEO of eenuee.

To this end, Duqueine Group will contribute its industrial expertise to the success of this novel structure, drawing on its recognized skills in aeronautical composites, as a key supplier to major programs such as the structures for the Airbus A350.
