iWall, NETHEOS, TIMA - Techniques de l'Informatique et de la Microélectronique pour l'Architecture d'ordinateurs
In today's digital world, ensuring secure networks with the latest data protection technology is essential for protecting consumer privacy, critical business data, bank account information, and citizens' rights--especially given the growing number of network attacks by increasingly sophisticated hackers.
The SHIVA project aims to keep companies, network operators, and governments at the cutting edge of data protection. The researchers will develop programmable hardware that can be easily reconfigured, with an Evaluation Assurance Level security rating of 4-5. The hardware will be designed for use in broadband network infrastructure to boost network security. Network managers will be able to use their own symmetric-key encryption, choosing from either standard, specialized, or personalized versions.
