Cortus, a innovative French corporation, works with its customers to provide intelligent processing and system solutions according to their requirements. We draw on a wide range of in-house IPs including analog circuits as well as both RISC-V and proprietary ISA 32 and 64 bit processors, system level IP, interconnect IP, coherent caches, compilers, debugger, RTOSes and embedded software which we use to provide complete HW, SW and system level solutions in different areas such as SIM cards, bank cards, e-passports, automotive sensors, image processing, industrial controllers, M2M controllers, secure microcontrollers, sensors, smart meters, wireless, touch screen controllers and IoT devices which give our customers significative competitive advantages.

We also have developed a complete SoC for IoT. This includes a medium range RF transceiver along with a powerful micro-controller, AES in hardware, as well as a large embedded flash memory. Everything needed for a secure, low cost, low power (up to 10 years battery life from a button cell) solution suitable for a wide range of IoT applications in smart buildings including ESL in supermarkets and in car parks.

Cortus is a Founding Platinum Member of the RISC-V Foundation and has created a range of RISC-V implementations for embedded applications based on Cortus’ existing micro-architecture.
