ITEN reinforces its management team

ITEN, a leading manufacturer of SMD solid-state microbatteries, announced today the appointment of Dr Ian Cayrefourcq, as Director of Programs. The company will benefit from his extensive background experience in material science and microelectronics.


 
Ian Cayrefourcq joins ITEN, following the closing by ITEN of a sizeable 10M€ series B funding round mid of last year and the recent move and expansion of ITEN’s production facilities.

 

Leveraging 15 years’ experience in executive positions within European and US firms, Ian will lead the company development programs and help the company accelerate in delivering its go-to-mass-production plan.

 

Before joining ITEN, Ian was scientific director and director of emerging technologies at ARKEMA, where he was in charge of all Arkema’s R&D activities in the fields of renewable energies (photovoltaics and energy storage) and electronics. Ian formerly had several leading positions in the microelectronics field especially at Dassault Electronique, Corning and Soitec as R&D or Business development director. Ian is recognized as expert at EEC regarding Energy Storage and New Information and Communication Technologies (NICT). He has been author or co-author of more than 80 publications and of around 20 patents.
