MA : "We founded eLichens in December 2014 to develop a solution that would let individuals monitor the quality of their environment. Our company leverages a portfolio of patents and competencies that have positioned us to be the first to develop and commercialize end-to-end solutions from sensors to air-quality-monitoring stations to data and services.
And, when combined with powerful gas/pollutant dispersion calculation algorithms, our platform can also indicate and predict air quality with unrivalled precision.
Our solutions target the industrial, smart city, consumer IoT, and smart home markets.

What made you decide to join Minalogic ?
MA : "Minalogic membership gives us access to a network of companies facing the same challenges we are: How do you get innovations to the market and secure financing for those innovations? Also, Minalogic offers a variety of services that are very attractive to startups like ours, from hands-on workshops and seminars to targeted introductions to potential partners..."
What collaborative R&D projects are you involved in ?
MA : "We have submitted several projects that are currently in the pipeline for approval. We are hoping that Minalogic will help us bring those projects to life.
Our know-how is based on several proven and patented innovations:
- Micro-sensors to measure PM10, PM2.5, PM1; the pollutants NOx, O3; the greenhouse gas CO2; T°; H2O; P; and noise
- Connected, self-contained[S1] , affordable indoor and outdoor air-quality monitoring and forecasting stations
- Rapid, operational street-canyon-type pollution models for urban environments
- Mathematical learning and data fusion techniques."
What services have you used since joining Minalogic ?
MA: "We have attended seminars and networking events. We also received Minalogic’s support for our trips to CES Las Vegas and IoT Asia in Singapore."
What kinds of partnerships are you looking for as a Minalogic member ? Business ? Innovation ?
MA : "We are currently seeking technical partners to help us set up collaborative R&D projects on gas/pollutant and air-quality measurement and to design end-to-end solutions to respond to the very current market need to make our environment healthier."
